Woolen Writers' Revival presents the first ever A VERY WOOLEN HOLIDAY on Thursday, Dec. 17 at Firefly Bar + Restaurant (1304 E Market St.) in Charlottesville, Va., featuring Grammy-nominated artist Chris Daughtry as the headliner. Proceeds will benefit COOKIES FOR KIDS CANCER, a national nonprofit organization that helps fund the development of less toxic, more effective treatments for children battling cancer.

Hosted by local musicians Will Thomas Reed and Brian Craddock, the benefit will also feature live music from Keith Wallen of Breaking Benjamin; Grammy-award winning Paul McCoy and Eric Weaver of 12 Stones; Shadwell Vandals; and Shep Stacy of My Dog Lucy. Tickets will cost $30 in advance and $35 at the door, limited VIP tables will be available for purchase.
