Let's All be Good Cookies...
When Insa was 6 months old, we learned about “Cookies for Kids’ Cancer”. It inspired us to expand our charity giving and establish a family tradition of donating to children's charities in honor of Insa’s future birthdays. We celebrated Insa's birthdays within the family when she was younger. This link was created in 2014 when she started having birthday parties, to encourage guests to donate to Cookies for Kids' Cancer instead of giving her presents. We hope you will join us to support this charity!
Cookies for Kids’ Cancer, a national 501(c)3 non-profit, was founded in 2008 by a pair of determined NY parents to help raise funding for pediatric cancer research. During their 2-year-old son’s fight against cancer, they discovered that cancer is the #1 disease killer of children in the U.S. and research on treatment is severely underfunded. And two-thirds of children who do survive will develop long-term side effects, including secondary cancers and organ failure…a result of the very treatments that once “cured” them. Cookies for Kids' Cancer is committed to raising funds for research to develop better treatments for pediatric cancer. Since 2008, it has brought 6 promising new treatments to clinical trial. The beautiful video below will give you a good understanding of this charity.
We hope you will “Be a Good Cookie” and support the efforts. You can donate any amount you like. There are 40,000 children actively battling cancer in the US right now, your tax-deductible donation will transform to tremendous help to them. We have the opportunity to truly make a difference and our kids will be proud of themselves!
